A 29-year-old school teacher died in a motorcycle accident on the Kala Wewa–Ipalogama Road earlier today (13).Police said the accident occurred while two individuals were travelling from Kala Wewa towards Ipalogama on a motorcycle. The rider reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a roadside tree.The motorcyclist died in the accident, while the other person travelling on the motorcycle sustained injuries and was admitted to the Dambulla Hospital.The deceased has been identified as a 29-year-old school teacher.Ipalogama Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
