Man injured in shooting at Dehiwala cemetery

A person has been injured in a shooting incident in the Dehiwala area and has been admitted to hospital for treatment. Police said two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle entered the Dehiwala–Mount Lavinia public cemetery and opened fire at a person inside before fleeing the scene. The injured victim was admitted to the South Colombo Teaching Hospital for treatment. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing. (Newswire)
