The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made official websites for all 63 Sri Lankan missions and posts abroad publicly accessible, consolidating diplomatic services and information under a unified digital platform.

Sri Lanka's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism has completed the rollout of official websites for its 63 diplomatic missions and posts globally. The initiative, developed under the Ministry's Common Website Platform, represents an effort to modernize how the country's diplomatic service connects with citizens and international partners through digital channels.

The newly launched websites cover a comprehensive network of Sri Lankan diplomatic presence spanning embassies, high commissions, consulates, and permanent missions across major cities worldwide. Among the platforms now operational are missions in key locations such as Washington, D.C., London, Beijing, Tokyo, New Delhi, Dubai, and Geneva, as well as permanent representations to the United Nations in both New York and Geneva.

These digital platforms are designed to provide centralized access to consular services, information on diplomatic activities, and regular updates from each mission. The websites aim to serve Sri Lankan nationals residing or working abroad who require assistance, as well as foreign stakeholders seeking to engage with Sri Lankan diplomatic representations. By consolidating this information online, the Ministry intends to enhance accessibility and streamline communication between its missions and the public.
