Sri Lanka dropped two places to sixth in the latest ICC World Test Championship (WTC) standings after the massive loss to the West Indies in the opening test of the two-match series in Antigua yesterday.The West Indies produced a ruthless all-round performance to register an innings-and-217-run victory over Sri Lanka at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound. After conceding a first-innings total of 308, the hosts piled up a mammoth 629/9 before bowling Sri Lanka out for just 101 in their second innings to seal one of their most comprehensive Test victories.The heavy loss saw Sri Lanka slip from fourth to sixth in the standings with Dhananjaya de Silva's side now holding 44.44 percentage points. The drop helped Bangladesh and India move up to fourth and fifth places.Australia with seven wins and one loss in eight games top the table ahead of South Africa and New Zealand.Sri Lanka will take on the West Indies in the second and final Test from July 3.
