The banking sector maintains overwhelming dominance at the top of the rankings. Bank of Ceylon leads with a brand value of 65.454 billion rupees and an AAA rating, followed by Commercial Bank of Ceylon at 54.908 billion rupees and People's Bank at 40.444 billion rupees. The telecommunications sector features prominently in second tier positions, with Dialog securing third place at 41.123 billion rupees. The retail supermarket segment also demonstrates significant brand strength, with Keells ranking sixth at 26.354 billion rupees.

Beyond the financial sector, Sri Lanka's consumer-facing brands show considerable diversity across industries. Lion Beer represents the beverages category at 21.491 billion rupees, while food and beverage companies such as Elephant House, Dilmah, and Watawala Tea reflect strong brand recognition in their segments. The rankings also include prominent retail, hospitality, healthcare, and insurance entities, indicating broad-based brand value creation across the economy.
