The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today rejected the bail application filed on behalf of Sugeeshwara Bandara, the former Private Secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who was remanded over allegations of receiving two salaries under the Presidential Budget.Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena rejected the bail application, stating that no exceptional circumstances had been presented to justify granting bail to the suspect, said Ada Derana reporter.Accordingly, the court ordered that the suspect be further remanded in custody until July 22.
