TECNO has introduced the CAMON 50 Pro to the Sri Lankan market, featuring advanced photography capabilities including AI-powered 60X zoom, low-light imaging, and underwater photography modes. The device is priced at LKR 159,999.
TECNO has officially unveiled the CAMON 50 Pro smartphone in Sri Lanka, positioning the device as a premium offering targeted at younger consumers seeking advanced mobile photography capabilities. The launch emphasizes the company's focus on camera innovation combined with artificial intelligence features designed to simplify capturing and selecting images.
The device centers on several photography technologies, including Super Zoom Flash Snap for capturing moving subjects with up to 3X magnification, and an AI 60X Super Zoom function for distant subjects. The primary camera system comprises a 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with a 1/1.56" sensor size and f/1.8 aperture optimized for low-light performance, supplemented by a 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultra-wide angle camera. Both optical image stabilization and advanced pixel technology support the imaging capabilities across photography and videography.
Beyond traditional photography, the CAMON 50 Pro introduces Aqua Mode for underwater photography and carries IP68/IP69K water and dust resistance ratings. Artificial intelligence features include automatic subject detection and tracking alongside a Best Moment 2.0 function that purportedly selects optimal frames automatically.
The device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor, up to 16GB RAM, and 256GB storage. A 6500mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. The smartphone is available in three color options: Moonshadow Black, Nebula Titanium, and Malachite Green.
