During this raid, 580 liters of sugarcane, including 7 40-liter containers filled with sugarcane and 580 liters of sugarcane brewed in barrels, were found in the house in question. Empty bottles and jars used to fill them were also found and recovered by the public health inspectors.
Meanwhile, the persons who were selling the sugarcane in the house in question fled the scene and a woman, the owner of the house, has been arrested. The health inspectors further stated that the items in question will be handed over to the court after further investigations and that the arrested person will be produced before the court.
