Following the observance of International Disabled Persons' Day on December 3, the Disabled Persons' Day (24) was held in the Thambalagamam Divisional Secretariat area. The Disabled Persons' Day was jointly organized by the Thambalagamam Divisional Secretariat and the Marutham Disabled Persons' Association. The event was held at the Thambalagamam D/E.Saradha Tamil Vidyalaya under the guidance of the Thambalagamam Divisional Secretary, Mrs. J. Sripathy. This time, the theme of the day was "Enhancing the Leadership of the Disabled for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future". On this occasion, cultural events were also held by students studying in the special education section of the school and cultural events were also held by members of the Marutham Disabled Persons' Association.
