The Police have announced that a special traffic plan will be implemented within Colombo City in view of the National Scout Poson Zone, which is being organized for the first time by the Sri Lanka Scout Association on the occasion of the Poson festival. Accordingly, the Police Media Division has announced that this special traffic plan will be in effect from 6 pm tomorrow (28) and Monday (29) the following day until 1 am the next day. The Poson Zone will be set up approximately 500 meters from the Lakehouse area to the Police Headquarters area on the Chittrampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha. Accordingly, the Police have clarified information on the temporary road restrictions and alternative routes that will be implemented by the Colombo Traffic Division with a view to improving public safety and traffic. From the Regal Junction to the Chittrampalam A. The following traffic routes have been announced as areas where traffic will be blocked: Gardiner Mawatha, Justice Akbar Mawatha – Male Road junction to Male Road, and Saranar Mawatha to Company Street flyover. As alternative routes, vehicles coming from the Regal Junction can travel towards Gamini Roundabout via D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, and towards NSA Roundabout via Ceramic Junction – Lotus Road. Vehicles coming from Justice Akbar Mawatha can travel towards Company Street via Male Road flyover and Alia Nana Roundabout. Vehicles coming from Saranar Mawatha near Company Street flyover can travel towards NSA Roundabout and Alia Nana Roundabout, the police said. Furthermore, parking lots have been allocated for the public visiting the Bosan Zone. Accordingly, T.R.
