The Minister of Health, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, visited the Tellipalla Cancer Hospital today (27.06.2026).
The transfer of the Tellipalla Cancer Hospital from the provincial to the central government and its development was discussed at the recently held Tellipalla Divisional Secretariat Development Meeting. Following this, the Minister discussed with the doctors today the needs of the Tellipalla Cancer Hospital, the patients there, the medicine requirements and its operational status.
During the visit, Fisheries Minister E. Chandrasekaram, Northern Provincial Health Services Director Dr. A. Ketheeswaran, Jaffna Teaching Hospital Director Dr. T. The Director of the Sathyamoorthy Tellipalaya Hospital, along with doctors and nurses, are present.
