A small van collided with a tree in the Poonagar area under the Echilampattu police division in Trincomalee. The accident occurred today (27.6.2026). The two passengers, aged 35 and 17, from the Vavuniya-Pattanichudu area, were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the Echilampattu Hospital and sent to the Trincomalee General Hospital for further treatment.
