Gralgo From Ceylon, Planet's Finest, and Ceylbee International have received recognition at the Great Taste Awards, a globally respected food and drink certification scheme, with support from a UK government-backed trade programme.

Three Sri Lankan companies have achieved recognition at the Great Taste Awards, one of the world's most prominent food and beverage accreditation programmes. The winners—Gralgo From Ceylon, Planet's Finest, and Ceylbee International—were among fewer than one-third of all entries to receive a star rating in the competition.

The British High Commission in Sri Lanka acknowledged the achievement, noting that all three businesses benefit from the UK Government-funded UK Trade Partnerships Programme. According to the High Commission, the awards represent a significant milestone in the companies' development and reflect their dedication to producing premium Sri Lankan products for the UK market.

The Great Taste Awards employ a rigorous blind-tasting evaluation process, with judges assessing entries solely on flavour characteristics rather than visual presentation, branding, or pricing considerations. This methodology ensures that recognition is granted exclusively on product quality. The British High Commission extended additional congratulations to other Sri Lankan firms that also succeeded in this year's competition, though specific details about these other winners were not provided.
