A three-vehicle collision brought traffic disruption to the Southern Expressway on Monday morning as vehicles traveling on the Colombo-bound lane from Matara were involved in the incident. The crash occurred near the 115-kilometer marker in the section between Kokmaduwa and Imaduwa, according to police reports.
The impact of the collision was significant enough to cause one of the vehicles to overturn. Two individuals sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to medical facilities for treatment.
