A passenger train scheduled to depart from Colombo Fort to Rambukkana at 4.45 p.m. derailed while entering the platform at around 4.50 p.m. today (07). The derailment involved one carriage of the train and has blocked four platforms at Colombo Fort Railway Station. Railway authorities warned that the incident is likely to cause delays to trains departing from and arriving at Colombo Fort.
