Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the assault on an Air Force officer near an ATM in Wadduwa, an incident that drew widespread attention on social media. According to the Police, the attack occurred on June 22, in front of a bank branch ATM. Following investigations launched after a complaint was lodged, a team from the Wadduwa Police arrested the suspects yesterday (01). The arrested individuals are residents of Pitugaldeniya, Kadigamuwa, and Atala. They are scheduled to be produced before the Panadura Magistrate’s Court today (02) for further legal proceedings.
