United Motors Lanka has introduced the latest generation Mitsubishi Outlander Sport at the Auto Vision Colombo Motor Show, featuring upgraded technology, safety systems, and comfort options tailored for Asian driving conditions.

United Motors Lanka PLC, the official Mitsubishi distributor in Sri Lanka, has unveiled the 2027 model year Mitsubishi Outlander Sport at the Auto Vision Colombo Motor Show. The compact SUV arrives with expanded customization options and improved capabilities designed to appeal to Sri Lankan drivers navigating diverse road conditions and modern lifestyles. According to the distributor, the vehicle combines Japanese engineering reliability with contemporary design and practical functionality.

The new Outlander Sport is powered by a fuel-efficient 1.5-liter MIVEC engine paired with an automatic CVT transmission and an intelligent Drive Mode Selector offering Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud driving settings. The vehicle provides 222mm ground clearance and features Mitsubishi's signature Dynamic Shield front grille, a panoramic glass roof, an electric tailgate, and a multi-around monitor system. Inside, the five-seater cabin offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and synthetic leather upholstery.

Safety stands as a central focus, with the Outlander Sport achieving a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP rating. Standard safety equipment includes Active Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, multiple airbags, and rear parking sensors. Group Chief Operating Officer Charaka Perera emphasized that the vehicle combines refined comfort with advanced safety technology, supported by United Motors' island-wide service network. The Outlander Sport is now available for viewing and test drives at United Motors Lanka showrooms across the country.
