Avoid visiting The police have warned the public to avoid visiting flood-affected and unsafe places. This was stated in a statement issued by the Sri Lanka Police Headquarters. Furthermore, the Road Development Authority has initiated all measures to immediately repair all roads and bridges damaged due to the sudden adverse weather conditions that have hit the country. It has been observed that the public in this area is visiting such damaged places in large numbers. The police have requested the public not to visit damaged bridges, roads and other unsafe places as such visits are very unsafe.
