A 26-year-old man has been arrested after police recovered 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine(‘Ice’) in his possession during a raid in the Manayaweli area of China Bay yesterday (2).The raid was carried out by a team of officers from the Trincomalee camp of the Police Special Task Force (STF), acting on information received by the authorities.The suspect, a resident of Wattala, has subsequently been handed over to the China Bay Police for further investigations.China Bay Police are conducting further inquiries into the incident.
