The Asian Cricket Council has confirmed that the Women's T20 Asia Cup will take place in Dubai from August 28 to September 13, with eight teams competing across two groups.

The sixth edition of the Women's T20 Asia Cup will commence on August 28 in Dubai, with all matches scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium under floodlights. The tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups, with each side playing one match against every other team in their respective group.

Group A comprises Hong Kong China, Thailand, India, and Pakistan, with the opening fixture between Hong Kong China and Thailand marking the tournament's beginning. The highly anticipated India versus Pakistan encounter is scheduled for September 5. Group B features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and hosts United Arab Emirates, with the Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi teams meeting on September 6.

Matches will commence at 6:30 pm local time throughout the tournament. The semi-finals are set for September 10 and 11, pitting the top two finishers from each group against one another in a crossover format. The final will be held on September 13.

Sri Lanka enters the competition as the defending champions, while India boasts the most titles with three victories in 2012, 2016, and 2022. Bangladesh previously won the tournament in 2018.
