After the victim informed the Jaffna police over the phone, the police, acting quickly, refused to board the bus and arrested the man in the Ariyakulam area. During the investigation conducted on the arrested man, it was revealed that the arrested suspect is a Captain-rank officer from the 09th Infantry Division, serving at the Palaly Army Camp. In this situation, the arrested person has been detained at the Jaffna Police Station and police are conducting investigations.
