The Vetrilakeni Navy is actively involved in efforts to suppress illegal fishing in the eastern part of Vadamaratchi. As part of the series of raids, a series of raids were carried out at sea and on land.
During this, six people were arrested along with a boat engaged in illegal fishing at sea by the Navy and two people were arrested along with two nets in a raid conducted by the Police in collaboration with the Navy on land.
