Rescue operations in Nepal have resulted in the evacuation of over 350 individuals from flood-hit areas, according to statements from the Nepal Army. The military organization coordinated these efforts to assist those stranded or displaced by the flooding.
Among those rescued, approximately 50 were identified as foreign nationals. According to the Nepal Army's spokesperson, the group included 30 Indian citizens, eight Chinese nationals, eight South Korean citizens, two Americans, and two Italians. The presence of a substantial number of international visitors among those rescued reflects the scale of the emergency affecting both local and foreign populations in the affected regions.
