The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in the country's restaurant and construction-related industries.
For the restaurant sector, registrations commence at noon today, with 4,000 positions available. Applicants must be men between 25 and 40 years old, possess at least one year of kitchen experience, have completed eight years of schooling, and demonstrate proficiency in English. Candidates must also pass physical and mental fitness assessments. The Bureau specified that individuals who have previously worked in Israel or have immediate family members already employed there are ineligible to apply.
The renovation sector recruitment opens tomorrow at 2 p.m., offering 12,000 positions divided equally among four specializations: plastering and gypsum board installation, electrical and block wall work, carpentry, and ceramic tiling. Eligible applicants are men aged 25 to 45 with ten years of schooling and basic English competency, subject to the same restrictions regarding prior Israeli employment. The Bureau noted that candidates who previously failed final examinations for Israeli construction roles cannot reapply, though workers from other Israeli job categories may apply for these four fields.
Selection will be conducted by qualified Israeli representatives who will assess applicants' professional abilities. The SLBFE cautioned job seekers to apply only for positions matching their genuine experience and qualifications.
