Cinnamon Box Office has announced an international Michael Jackson tribute show as part of its expanded entertainment calendar, positioning Colombo as a regional cultural destination.
Cinnamon Box Office unveiled its Destination Event Calendar on August 6, 2026, at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, introducing a slate of entertainment offerings designed to establish Colombo as a hub for cultural and creative experiences. The announcement marks an effort to transform the city into a year-round venue for premium entertainment alongside its existing dining and hospitality options.
Among the featured productions is "This Is Michael – Relive the Legend," billed as the world's premier Michael Jackson tribute concert. The show will perform on November 8 and 9, 2026, at The Podium within City of Dreams Sri Lanka. According to organizers, the production features a performer noted for his resemblance and vocal similarity to Michael Jackson, combining choreography, live music, elaborate staging and costumes to recreate the artist's most celebrated performances.
Cinnamon Box Office, which operates as a ticketing platform, has built its portfolio over more than a decade through partnerships with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts and related entities. The organization previously brought Broadway productions including "Mamma Mia the Musical" and "The Sound of Music" to Sri Lanka, in addition to hosting events featuring international culinary figures and conferences focused on tourism and business leadership.
