Officers from Sri Lanka's anti-corruption watchdog visited the home of MP Ravi Karunanayake on Parliament Road after he failed to respond to a formal summons to appear before the commission.

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) dispatched officers to the residence of Member of Parliament Ravi Karunanayake on Wednesday following his non-compliance with an official notification to appear before the body.

According to reports, Karunanayake had been formally notified to present himself to the anti-corruption commission but did not comply with the directive. This led to the investigative team conducting an in-person visit to his residence situated on Parliament Road in Colombo.
