A woman has staged a protest at a road construction site after her husband sustained serious injuries falling into an unguarded excavation pit during nighttime travel, claiming safety barriers were only installed after the accident.
Video footage has captured a woman's public demonstration against road development authorities, alleging negligence in securing an active excavation site. According to her account, the incident occurred when she and her husband were traveling through the area at night, and he fell into an unprotected pit, resulting in severe injuries.
The protester claimed that no safety barriers or warning signage were present during the nighttime hours when the accident happened. She alleged that workers only installed protective measures after the incident had already occurred. The woman, who is a mother of three, stressed that even basic precautions such as a single warning sign could have prevented the accident from taking place.
Staging her demonstration at the site the following morning, the woman appealed to authorities to take responsibility for the incident and to ensure proper care for her injured husband. Her protest highlights ongoing concerns about safety protocols at active construction sites and the adequacy of measures to protect the public in work zones, particularly during hours of darkness.
