A pre-release promotional event for actor Yash's upcoming film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' was disrupted when a DJ speaker stand collapsed at a venue in Hyderabad, resulting in injuries to several attendees.
A promotional gathering for the Kannada film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' turned chaotic on Saturday when stage equipment failed at an event hosted in Hyderabad's Medchal-Malkajgiri district. According to Cyberabad Police, the incident occurred at Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, where a substantial crowd had assembled to meet lead actor Yash and members of the film's production team.
The mishap took place when attendees, attempting to secure better vantage points, climbed onto a flying DJ speaker stand. Police officials reported that some individuals were performing stunts on the stand when it became unstable and suddenly gave way. Multiple people fell from height as a result of the collapse and sustained injuries. Emergency responders transported the injured to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Video footage of the incident was recorded by event attendees and subsequently circulated on social media platforms.
'Toxic' is a crime drama centered on a powerful gangster character and explores interconnected themes of romantic relationships, authority, betrayal and personal transformation. The narrative particularly emphasizes the dynamic between protagonist Raya and his son, Ticket.
