The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has announced recruitment for student training programs across eight allied health professions, with applications accepted from recent science and mathematics stream Advanced Level graduates.

Sri Lanka's Ministry of Health and Mass Media has launched a recruitment drive for training courses spanning eight allied health professions, aiming to expand the country's healthcare workforce in specialized support roles.

The available training programs cover a diverse range of healthcare disciplines. Prospective students can apply for courses in dental technology, public health inspection, prosthetics and orthotics, entomology, school dental therapy, dental laboratory technology, drug compounding, and electrocardiography technology.

Eligibility for these programs is restricted to individuals who completed their GCE Advanced Level examinations in either the Science or Mathematics streams between 2019 and 2023. This requirement ensures that applicants have relevant foundational knowledge in these subject areas.

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by August 31, 2026, providing a window for potential students to prepare and apply for their preferred training courses.
