FINEX Tissues, a brand under Global Consumer Products (Pvt) Ltd, introduced what it claims is Sri Lanka's first locally-produced facial tissue canister holder at Hotel Show Colombo 2026, generating over 150 customer inquiries during the three-day event.

FINEX Tissues made its third consecutive appearance at Hotel Show Colombo 2026 with the introduction of a facial tissue canister holder designed for use in homes, offices, vehicles, hotels, and commercial spaces. The 18th edition of the hotel industry trade show, held at BMICH from 24 to 26 July, attracted more than 200 exhibitors and thousands of hospitality professionals from Sri Lanka and abroad.

The company reports that the new product generated significant interest from show attendees, with visitors inquiring about potential applications in hotel rooms, restaurants, offices, and vehicles. According to FINEX, this visitor engagement translated into more than 150 customer inquiries over the three-day period, suggesting commercial potential beyond casual interest.

Managing Director I. L. Dawood of Global Consumer Products stated that the launch represented a strategic shift toward offering genuinely novel solutions rather than variations of existing products already available in the market. He attributed the strong response to the company's focus on meeting specific buyer needs for innovative hygiene solutions in hospitality settings.

The canister was showcased alongside FINEX's broader hygiene product range, which includes the FINEX, ECO, Guardian, and Flexee product lines. Global Consumer Products operates with a workforce exceeding 150 employees and serves a client base of over 1,000 customers across corporate, retail, and household sectors. The company specializes in manufacturing and distributing hygiene and eco-friendly products while also offering contract manufacturing services.
