Food company Giga Foods has launched two restaurant concepts in Malabe, expanding its multi-brand portfolio to serve the area's growing residential and business communities.
Giga Foods has opened Solo Bowl and Indian Affair, two distinct restaurant brands, at a new location in Malabe as part of its expansion strategy. The dual-brand outlet reflects the company's approach to making its diverse dining concepts more widely available while responding to changing customer preferences in the suburban area.
Solo Bowl specializes in contemporary Asian cuisine, offering customers rice bowls, fried rice, pasta and salads designed as convenient meal options for daily dining. Indian Affair operates alongside it, providing authentic Indian fare including biryanis, curries and traditionally prepared dishes using aromatic spices and established recipes. By housing both concepts at a single location, the company aims to provide greater convenience and variety to customers.
The expansion targets Malabe's expanding residential, educational and business sectors. According to Giga Foods, the move demonstrates its commitment to investing in key urban centres experiencing rapid development. The company stated that the new outlets reflect its focus on delivering consistent quality and innovation while strengthening its overall market presence across its growing restaurant network. The openings are positioned as part of the company's broader contribution to Sri Lanka's modern restaurant industry.
